Lumos is a nonprofit organization started by J.K. Rowling to rectify the institutionalization of children. 8 million children worldwide are living in institutions simply because they are poor, disabled, or from an ethnic minority. Institutions deprive children of the loving care they require to grow up healthy and happy. Lumos seeks to transform these outdated systems, which drive families apart.
I redesigned Lumos in conjunction with the RISD class "Design for Good." I intended to rebrand Lumos in a way that was both playful and professional.

tink | knit is a student-run social venture at Brown University that was started in the fall of 2014. tink was created to empower single mothers living in Rhode Island through entrepreneurship. Mothers are given the skills and supplies to knit high quality goods, which are sold at the bookstore. To date, tink | knit has generated over $20,000 in revenue, returning $15,000 directly to mothers.
tink | knit was co-branded in conjunction with another student at Brown University. The logo, and all associated brand imagery is intended to communicate both a high-quality, yet hand-made feel.

ThinkIVY is a summer camp held by Educatrium Ventures. ThinkIVY's mission is to help guide students towards the future by equipping them with the tools necessary for academic success.
I rebranded ThinkIVY as a personal project during a summer internship. The logo combines the original laurel design with "direction." I sought to create a logo that was clean, modern, yet still capable of communicating ThinkIVY's mission.
DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY
The Department of History at Brown University was seeking a tentative identity rebranding for the 2016-2017 school year.
No previous design existed outside of the one created within Brown's visual identity. In hopes of creating a more recognizable department, I sought to create a brand that was grounded in the past, yet clearly based in the present.
